R&R
That's "read and review." If you want rest and relaxation you should go to a different forum. Here's where you post what you've written over the weekend so we can all read it and point and laugh. Please specify whether you want critique or not.

Praise and Critique
Believe it or not there are authors better than us, they just dont get as much publicity as we do (joking guys). Feel free to throw in any praise for any authors you have been reading here. Critisism is necessary too. Feel free to comment on anyone from Dickens to Shakespeare to Orson Scott Card to Clive Cussler to Jane Austin to JK Rowling. Even magazine publications are open game. It is all welcome.

The Best
The Best of the Best deserve to have their own category. Mention your favorite authors, descriptions of them and any famous or not so famous books they have. We read to get better at writing. Why not learn from the best?

The Latest
We don't all check the New York Times Bestseller list every day so please tell us about the latest books out on the market. Anything by well known authors to emerging ones, it's all good to know.

The Blank Page
So, you've just finished your book, novel, poem, song, short story or other form of prose and you're left feeling empty and bored. Glancing longingly at the old familiar pen (I guess we use computers these days) you decide that its time to jump back into another, more adventurous adventure. After 57 hours of the blank page (or computer screen) staring back at you, you decide its time to go to bed or get some help. When you decide the latter, make this your first stop.

Writers Block
This time you're halfway through the book (or other form of prose) and you hit a dead end. You've tried everything to get you through the wall of undecisive writing but none of it works. All tips and pleas for salvation may fall here, to your fellow aspiring authors. We know what you're going through and we may even decide to help you.

The Big Picture
Aside from the little challenges you faithfully complete every weekend you all have a mission in mind: to complete that one novel, that one short story anthology, that one song. Give us the DL (Down Low for those of you abbreviationally inept; and no I don't think that's an acutal word) on your story/novel/song and we'll see what we can work out.
